Ashley Garcia-Rameau, born and raised in Houston, TX, has spent over fifteen years dancing in classical ballet, contemporary ballet, and modern dance. She originally received her training at the Houston Academy of Dance while also performing with the Exclamation Dance Company. While in Houston, Ashley also founded and led the award-winning Remix Dance Team at St. Agnes Academy. Ashley graduated in December 2011 from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Dance. In Austin, Ashley performed with the Austin Classical Ballet Company and BHumn Dance Company. Ashley's intensive training credits include: The Alvin Ailey School (Fellowship/Scholarship); Joffrey Jazz & Contemporary (Scholarship); Complexions Contemporary Dance Co.; Dominic Walsh Dance Theater. Ashley's choreography and teaching credits include: Univ. of Texas; Exclamation Dance Co.; BHumn Dance Co.; St. Agnes Academy; Houston Academy of Dance.
