Jazz/Drill Team Prep Instructor
Sara Arnold began dancing at the age of 3 in Rochester, Michigan. Dancing competitively since kindergarten, Sara has been trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern and Cecchetti. Although she moved across the country several times, she is proud to call Austin, Texas her home since 2004. Throughout middle school, Sara continued competitively dancing under the direction of Gay Pollock. While Sara’s passion for dance began in preschool, her love of choreography began in 8th grade when she founded the Lake Travis Middle School Jazz Company—a dance team for middle school students. Sara is a member of the Lake Travis High School Cavalettes where she has served as an officer for two years, and currently is serving as Captain for the 2013-14 school year. Some of her most exciting dance experiences include opening for the Radio City Rockettes, dancing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rose Bowl Parade, and performing at the Dallas Cowboy’s Stadium for state championship football games. Sara is currently a senior at Lake Travis High School & plans to attend The University of Texas in the fall of 2014 where she plans to major in both dance and education. Hook’em!
