Rebekah grew up in Albuquerque, NM and trained in ballet for thirteen years. She attended summer intensives with Princeton Dance and Theatre Studio, the Kirov Academy of Ballet, and Southwest Dance Institute. She planned to pursue a professional career in ballet until she developed a serious injury that ultimately lead to the ending of her dreams. She went on to earn a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Texas. While completing her degree in kinesiology, she channeled her love of dance into teaching other students East Coast Swing, bachata, waltz, and many other social dance styles. Towards the end of her college years, Rebekah flew out to Long Beach, California to train under Karen Clippinger in BASI’s Pilates Teacher Training with Dance Specialization. Her journey has led her to be passionate about utilizing Pilates for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Since her initial teacher training program, Rebekah’s love of learning has led her to complete continuing education workshops with BASI, Merrithew, the Neuro Studio, and the Center for Women's Fitness.
