Gay Pollock

Assistant Artistic Director
DIPA Coach, Choreographer and Jazz Instructor

 

Gay Pollock began dancing at the age of three. She trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Modern,

Hip Hop, Contemporary, Clogging, and Improv. After dancing at Kilgore Jr. College, she was

given the opportunity to perform all over the world as an Ambassador of the United States. She performed in Minsk, Moscow, Oslo, and Denmark.

 

Gay received a BS in Curriculum and Instruction, with a specialty in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University. She has been training dancers for thirty years in all areas of dance.  Her choreography has won numerous awards, both locally and nationally. Gay’s studio, Fusion Dance Company, was highly regarded and developed incredible technical dancers. Many of her dancers continue their studies in colleges or on companies and become professional dancers.

 

She loves sharing her knowledge and love for dance with dancers of all ages.
