Hip Hop Instructor

Dancing for over 15 years, Valentin Hernandez has accomplished many things and has grown to be a fine choreographer, director, and mentor. Valentin's dancing consists of swift intention, and creative choreography. He is energetic, has excellent coordination, confidence, uncommon stamina and strong musicality.

He continues to train and grow as well. To this day he still attends many classes, workshops, and intensives from various choreographers and instructors. He applies what he learns to how he teaches his students as well. His previous team was The Neighborhood, a competitive adult team of Dancing for a Cause organization based out of Dallas, TX. He has worked with a total of 3 thus far.

Valentin's dances consist of popping, locking, isolations, and many forms of hip hop. He enjoys providing individuals and groups with dance instructions, to coordinate placement and timing. He effectively directs students in an efficient manner, spreading his own knowledge and wisdom. 

 

For Valentin's philosophy, he tries to portray hip hop more than what is known about the current existence and background of each fundamental. He tries to make others understand their own body and how it can move in so many ways. He likes to encourage people to not be comfortable, and always wants others to accept a challenge.
